This place is fantastic, almost like it was in the Viking era. Huge boards, from the age of candle lighting, huge leather-bound stools, waterfalls hanging from the walls, are visually wonderful places, and the bar seems cut from an overall wood price. In terms of food, I can only say my personal diet, this is a better meal I have eaten. There are a lot of pickles and roast potatoes (don&rsquo;t order appetizers). There are many types of wine here

MUUSU Riga A restaurant in the old town. At the Riga restaurant, it is recommended to try their beer instead of wine, Latvia is not full of wine, beer tastes a lot. I am still the first time I have a variety of beer in a wine glass in such a restaurant. Latvia has a long history of brewing, with many breweries, and they produce wine that amazes many wine tastings, and they use local fruit brewing such as rhubarb, dandelion, birch and so on.

This place is very good to find because it is in the central city. We were visiting the central city that day and just found out that it was delicious!

It was pleasant to adjust a sitting in the open air and watch people coming to the holiday to visit everywhere.

I thought Western food was small, but this store was completely enough to eat, and the portion was large.

When I used to live in Riga, I would often bring guests visiting me to this venue. Big portions, reasonable prices and unique atmosphere deep in the underground cavern. We had lunch again today with my wife, one decade later. The experience was exactly the same. We had the huge pork knuckle for mere 16 euros, along with salad, various appetisers and local beer from cherry. Particular mention worths our waitress, Inga, who was fast, efficient and caring and fluent in English as well.   Strongly recommended

This is an authentic cellar club, noisy busy and great fun. The service struggled with some large groups, but it was cheerful and improved. We went hoping to hear music but it was Monday and apparently there is no music on Mondays. The food was fine, our desert was amazing. Well worth a visit

A fun night out, but remember to book.

This club serves great Latvian food and has some of the best food items Latvia has to offer. The garlic bread is to die for and the rye bread pudding was really good too. For mains we tried Latvian meatballs and fish of the day which turned out to be lake trout. Both mains were served hot and fresh and our favourite Latvian side dish - stewed sauerkraut - came with the meatballs. The restaurant has a lot of drink options but we tried some lindenberry flower tea and a nice cherry kriek beer.  The restaurant is located on the south side of Riga&apos;s old town and is near St. Peter&apos;s Church. The restaurant is set in an old basement and has a medieval charm to it. The restaurant has several cultural experiences throughout the week including Latvian folk dancing and live music so it is worthwhile checking their schedule in advance and making a reservation on their website. When we went it was on a later on a Tuesday and we had no issues getting a table but we were in a side room rather than the charming main area.  The service is pretty quick and efficient here but you may spend more time here than intended if you plan on drinking. They have a good beer selection and deals if you buy in larger volumes so it is worthwhile to go with friends or large groups.

Good Latvian Food in Riga

The ambience, the culture, the staff, the food, and the LIVE MUSIC… what a spectacular night!  Huge shoutout to our server, Diāna, who took so much time on a busy night to walk us through the local wine recommendations, checked in on us throughout our dancing on the dance floor, and just really made it an authentic unforgettable evening!

Excellent food, music, and atmosphere

This was such a perfect evening! There was a really great choice of drinks and the decor and atmosphere was amazing. Halfway through the evening there was a live band which really added to the ambience. The food was incredible, especially the fried garlic break. I also really recommend the rhubarb wine and the honey and ginger beer. Definitely a must visit in Riga.
